What did you get from that interview? What I see in Kanye is a person who is determined to hold his personal values in high regard, despite what life throws at him. So many people are afraid to be themselves because of FEAR. Fear has people pretending to be something that they are not just so they can be accepted. Society does not promote originality, nor is it popular to be a leader. I commend Kanye for doing exactly what he wants to do and for not folding under the pressure of media and publication. One thing that he said that stood out to me was how he feels like he has reached a ceiling. Its true that no matter how successful you are, there are people who are in power that will keep you from expanding your dreams because of FEAR. Fear of being associated with the likes of Kanye, based on the box that society has tried to put him in. I believe he will inspire a lot of people to run back to originality and stay true to themselves.
